Dear ZIBR Community,

Welcome to the first issue of the ZIBR research newsletter "ZIBR Insights." Blockchain technology is reshaping not only financial systems, but also governance, law, and society itself. These profound transformations deserve serious, independent scholarly attention.

As a joint initiative of the University of Lucerne and the Canton of Zug, ZIBR examines blockchain through a human sciences lens, bringing together researchers from law, political science, philosophy, sociology, and other disciplines. Based in Zug, in the heart of the Crypto Valley, we are committed to producing research that is both academically rigorous and relevant to contemporary challenges and developments.

This newsletter is our window to the world. We look forward to sharing our work, engaging with new ideas, and fostering meaningful conversations in the months and years ahead.

Warm regards,

Zug Institute for Blockchain Research
